Impolite Company began as, and continues to be, a monthly stand up comedy showcase hosted by Chris Cyr, and held at The Crack Fox in downtown St. Louis. The late night show is designed to be a place where audiences give comics permission to explore material outside of the boundaries of what can be discussed in polite company.
Since it began in 2015, Impolite Company has staged various other shows in St. Louis and other areas, and spun off a successful storytelling show.
In February 2018, Impolite Company began broadcasting its own radio hour in St. Louis on 920 AM at six o’clock each weekday morning. The show can be streamed live on the WGNU website, the station’s app for Android or via iPhone, and listened to in podcast form.
The radio show features the daily ramblings of host, Chris Cyr, a working comic and producer in the St. Louis comedy scene, and regular interviews with comics at all levels of their career.
In March 2018, Impolite Company began producing uncensored podcast only content via Impolite Company: Extra.
And we’re not done yet.
